Alireza Ghazveh

1

I would like to all the time
Hang the rain’s shirt
On a rope to dry
I would like to all the time
Steal the clock of the time
And remove its hands
As I always am naughty
And remove hat of the
Head of the winds
I’d always wanted to write the angles un-recited poems
Yet always someone appears
Higher than me and the sea
Higher than me and the time
Even higher than the angles of god
With a new poem
And laughs at me…

2

The nest rain pour
When the trees grow young
When the flowers start to talk
When the stars get married
The moon settles with happiness
When the springs find the lost child
When the clouds lay down head on pillow and sleep
This Spring
I would wrap my poems in a cloth
And leave for finding god

The sparrow flies away
The snake creeps away
The fruits go away
And I just done get it
Why is it that
The prayers of the hands
Of this tree won’t end.

5

Only the poets can
Make rain
Out of the words
Make an umbrella
Out of the words
Make tears
Out of the words
A napkin
And sometimes
Hold on to the words
And standing up
Praise the god
Word by word
And at times
Laugh at the words
Instead of the devil.

Spring in the Elevator
In the black out
Spring got stuck and
It was raining in the elevator!
Well, when no light
Moon sticks high to the sky
Then orbits and Meridians,
stick low to the Earth!
Take all the sticking easy
Yet, the rain and lighting are damn serious
And also, the fact that sometimes
Spring gets stuck
in the elevator.
